As a British trained professional artist and potter I specialize in ceramics creating very distinctive, high quality, decorative porcelain giftware. Each contemporary vessel, bowl and jewellery with their distinctive organic style, some of which are embellished with coloured volcanic glaze are all handmade by me in my studio.
I also use photography to capture moments and revisit images for pen and ink drawings and watercolours as well as the porcelain ware. The photographs can be found in the Inspiration Photos section of this website.
The complex and labour intensive process by slip casting includes designing and making plaster molds, at least two kiln firings at different temperatures, hand carving, hand polishing several times in between each firing and the making and use of volcanic and coloured glazes.
